Mariah Carey - Dream Lover
I have a confession. I used to be in love with Mariah Carey. In the 5th grade my BFF and I would dance and sing along to Music Box. And we knew all the words. Yes. There it is. I've said it. I still love her Diva-liciousness and the fact that she went kind of crazy. I like that. I also think that Ms. Carey would've made a much better 4th American Idol judge instead of Kara Whazhername. Can you imagine it?? Mariah & Paula teamed up fawn nonsensical lovelies at the contestants. It would be sparkly butterfly fantastic.

Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays
I just discovered this song and I think it is amazing. This is, apparently, about a real event. Taken from Wikipedia:
Geldof wrote the song after reading a telex report at Georgia State University's campus radio station, WRAS, on the shooting spree of 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer, who fired at children playing in a school playground across the street from her home in San Diego, California. She killed two adults and injured eight children and one police officer. Spencer showed no remorse for her crime, and her full explanation for her actions was "I don't like Mondays, this livens up the day." The song was first performed less than a month later at the Fox Theatre, San Diego.

Saving Abel - Addicted (Unedited)
There is somewhat of a conflict about this video. The uncut/unedited version (this one) depicts nudity. The MTV version does not. Personally, I don't care for either video. But it's not the naked ladies that I object to. I feel the videos lack a storyline beyond "Lead Singer Videos Naked Ladies". But, because I'm like that, here is the uncut version. BTW NSFW.

Covered Up Tuesdays: Mandy Moore - Umbrella
A blog I read sometimes features Naked Lady Monday (I know, I've lost the hetero men and the lesbians. It's okay, you'll be back.) so I'm going to implement Covered Up Tuesday in which I'll feature a cover song. It won't be every Tuesday but being that I love covers, I'll do alot.
